Aerial Application

Stanley Sayre founded Sayre Helicopter in 1976. Stanley was and still remains a farmer in Portage County, Ohio. In 1976, Stanley raised potatoes and needed them sprayed on a weekly basis. After loosing a crop because of bad service, he decided to take on the Aerial Application business. It’s been a long road since then, but one thing has never changed; providing quality service in a safe effective manner. Stanley is still the chief pilot and, along with his son Chuck, provides ground support all while understanding the high demands of the farmer in today’s markets.

Sayre Helicopter is proud to hold and opperate under an FAA Type-137 Certificate as well as being licensed by the Ohio Department of Agriculture to handle restricted-use pesticides.

Spring time brings wheat fungiside and gypsy moth.

In summertime, corn fungiside is our main focus.

Fall brings the oppertunity for seeding cover-crops.
